All visitors to Indonesia must possess passport valid for minimum of 6 months from the date of arrival. Otherwise, visitors can be held in detention or refused permission to leave the country until a fine is paid. Overstaying without proper documentation and authorization is a serious violation.

LIST OF COUNTRIES ELIGIBLE FOR "FREE VISA" FACILITY

No Visa is required for 30 days stay for the following 11 countries and administrative region:

Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macau Special Administrative Region, Chile, Morocco, Peru, and Vietnam. Visitors eligible for the visa-free facility will be able to proceed directly to the immigration clearance counter.

LIST OF COUNTRIES ELIGIBLE FOR "VISA ON ARRIVAL" FACILITY

Visa will be issued on arrival at the Airports or Seaports at USD 10 for a 3 to 7 days stay and USD 25 for a 30 days stay eligible to the following 36 countries:

Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Cambodia, China, Cyprus, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iceland, Iran, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Laos, Luxemburg, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Malta, Monaco, Maldives, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russian, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Suriname, Taiwan and the United States.

Other Nationalities have to apply for their visa at Indonesian Embassy available in your area before entering Indonesia.

The visa-on-arrival is issued for single entry only and can be obtained at the following Immigration Clearance Points:

PROCEDURES OBTAINING VISA ON ARRIVAL

Step One
Each passenger is required to take a queue to buy visa at Visa Counter provided by BNI (Bank Negara Indonesia), the bank is only accept USD bank note.

Step Two
Get the receipt of the visa payment and take to Immigration counter to exchange with Visa and get entry stamp from the immigration counter.
